How to recover a lost car registration certificate — clarification from the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Unfortunately, when changing their place of residence, there are cases when drivers lose important documents, such as, for example, a vehicle registration certificate.

Citizens who have lost their document should re-register the vehicle. To do this, you need to contact the convenient service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The owner of the car brings the necessary documents with him in order to provide them to the administrator.
Note, if you have “Action” — you can show the electronic matches of your documents. Mandatory list:
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine, or a temporary or permanent residence permit;
- identification number;
- certificate from the police (if the certificate was stolen).
The owner of the car receives a new vehicle registration certificate on the day of contacting the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The cost of the service is approximately 605 UAH — this includes the price of the service itself and the certificate form.
The service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reminds controllers that expert research is not mandatory. It is carried out exclusively at will.
In order to re-register a vehicle, citizens first need to obtain a pre-registration ticket for the service. To do this, you need to use the e-write function. Also, the ticket is available in the terminal, which is located in the premises of the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
