How to Recover Damaged, Lost or Stolen License Plates
If you left the de-occupied territories and lost documents for cars or license plates, you can restore them in the GSC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Also in service centers they will be restored to you after loss due to bad weather, evacuation, theft, poor fastening, etc.
To restore damaged, lost or stolen vehicle license plates to any territorial service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it is necessary to provide:
• passport; • identification code; • certificate of registration of the vehicle; • certificate from the police (if the
person applied to the police);
• act of official investigation (for legal entities).
The administrator will re-register your vehicle and issue new license plates.
