How to properly extinguish fires and provide assistance to victims - studied at the Academy of DPSU
At the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, a complex of classes with personnel on the observance of security measures continues.
The procedure for handling explosive materials, characteristics of explosive objects, rules of conduct during their detection, means of protection used by rescuers — these and other issues were considered during the training of the university staff together with representatives of the emergency and rescue unit of the special purpose of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi.
The rules of handling on the water and means of rescue, the procedure for providing assistance to the sinker were also considered. Separately, they focused on the issue of fire handling, statistics and causes of fires, examples and mechanisms of occurrence of short shutdown of electrical equipment, demonstrated the consequences of careless handling of flammable materials during cooking, as well as the procedure for using primary fire extinguishing agents.
In addition to these topics, the Academy staff will also discuss security issues when handling weapons, actions in case of injuries, injuries and first aid on the battlefield, road safety, workplace safety, etc.
