How to get an extract from the Register of Missing Persons in Special Circumstances and make sure that your application is really considered and processed
To obtain an extract from the Register, you must contact the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine — by e-mail or provide a written request at the addresses that you see on the screen.
All requests for receipt of extracts are considered and processed by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Please note that first of all, before submitting an application for an extract from the Register, it is advisable to view on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the section “Missing citizens and children” information about the presence of a missing person in the search for a missing person in the category “missing”. Since in the absence of information about the search, information in the Register will also be missing. In this case, it is necessary to contact the pre-trial investigation body in which the criminal proceedings are in place to establish the reason for not declaring the missing person on the wanted list.
