“I'm in the right place!” - the story of a volunteer with the nickname Sam
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, a successful entrepreneur exchanged advertising business for a vending machine and joined the ranks of volunteers. Now Sam serves as a mortar gunner in one of the companies of the First Presidential Brigade of the operational task named after hetman Petro Doroshenko “Bureva”.
“First of all, the uniform for me is an honor. I very much want and hope that my brothers who serve in the National Guard of Ukraine will remember that the person who wears the uniform should be an example for everyone. Being an example and role model of the unit, the kind of troops where you serve is an additional responsibility,” the volunteer emphasizes.
Currently, Sam's unit is undergoing combat coordination, because the guards are preparing to liberate the enemy-occupied Ukrainian territories. As the guard points out, “I am in the right place” because the soldiers of the brigade are highly motivated and also share the same principles as he does.
“I want to fight with dignity, bravely and ruthlessly to beat the enemy. Guys and girls, try to stay intact to enjoy victory when it comes, and it definitely will!” says the national guard.
