Guards of the Vyshhorod Brigade take part in the joint command and staff exercises “Snowstorm 2022"
During the current month, joint command and staff exercises “Snowstorm 2022” will continue at certain military training sites throughout the state. The event involved structural units that are part of the security and defense sector of Ukraine.
The soldiers of the First Presidential Brigade of the Operational Task Force named after Hetman Petro Doroshenko of the Northern Union also take part in these exercises. Over the course of a month, the Guards, together with other representatives of the security and defense sectors, will hone their skills in conducting defense operations, as well as countering asymmetric actions of a conventional adversary.
“Our main tasks during the exercises are to strengthen the protection of the state border, isolate the crisis area and participate in the fight against sabotage. In addition, close cooperation has been established with the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Fiscal Service, as well as with state authorities and local self-government,” said the deputy commander of military unit 3027.
The purpose of the exercises is to achieve the coherence of the actions of the military command in cooperation with local authorities for the most effective implementation of the tasks of conducting military operations in the crisis area.
