Guards found drugs and weapons at one of the checkpoints in Odessa region
During the execution of tasks to comply with the requirements of the legal regime of martial law, the guards of the 11 brigade named after Mikhail Hrushevsky of the Southern Operational and Territorial Union of the National Guard of Ukraine, stopped a Hyundai car at one of the checkpoints in Odessa region.
During the inspection of the vehicle, the fighters discovered two bundles of an unknown substance of plant origin. During further communication, the citizen voluntarily confessed and took out four more hidden zip bags, which contained a powdery substance of gray color and one zip bag with pills. According to the man, these are the banned drugs “cannabis”, “hair dryer” and “ecstasy”.
Also, during a superficial examination of the driver, an object similar to a firearm was found. When asked about the origin, the violator explained that it was a traumatic weapon that was modified for combat.
An investigative and operational team was called to the scene, which in the presence of witnesses seized prohibited items and substances, and the man was transferred to police officers on suspicion of committing a crime under Articles 263 and 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
