The guards of the Eastern ATO conducted a comprehensive training on combat readiness
Tactical and military exercises and complex training on combat readiness took place in the military units of the Eastern Operational and Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine. During the week, the guards of Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk and Luhansk regions practically practiced their ability to resist external aggression, sabotage, Terrorist threats.
Troop control points were deployed, positions were equipped and disguised. One of the most important aspects of this training was ensuring the survivability of personnel in conditions of enemy use of aviation, artillery and UAVs.
“The personnel acted in a coordinated manner, tested their skills in real conditions. We have deployed all elements of the control points, including those operating outside the permanent deployment points. We conducted reconnaissance of the deployment areas,” said the head of the Eastern Territorial Department of the National Guard of Ukraine Major General Oleg Sakhon. Another mandatory component of the complex exercise is the strengthening of measures for the protection and defense of military towns.
Equipment and weapons were put into combat use, points of acceptance of mobilization resources were created in concentration areas.
“In matters of combat training, there are no trifles. Everyone should work clearly and harmoniously. This is extremely important, given the proximity to the Russian border,” said Lieutenant Colonel Yevgeny Kazantsev, commander of military unit 3051. Staff officers practiced in managing units during sudden tasks, carried out the necessary calculations and monitored the execution of tasks.
“Maintaining combat readiness and a high level of command of units in the area of the Joint Forces operation is a vital necessity. This is achieved through constant practice. This is especially true in the Azov region, where threats are growing not only from land, but also from the sea,” said Colonel Denis Shlega, commander of military unit 3057.
The purpose of such complex training is to check the readiness of all personnel, military equipment and weapons to perform combat tasks, as well as the ability of commanders of all units to carry out high-quality management of subordinate units.
