Guards carry out stabilization and verification actions in liberated Kherson
During the occupation of the city, even during the day, people were afraid to go out and move around the city on foot or by their own vehicles.
“There were occasional cases of kidnapping, raping women, disappearing people, just taking cars, or anything they liked, without any explanation! This is the impression that they came to liberate us from what we earned all our lives!”, - shares an experienced local resident Oleksiy.
Currently, the guards carry out stabilization measures and serve in the Kherson region at checkpoints established for the implementation of the traffic control regime of vehicles, checking citizens' documents, identifying collaborators.
“After the liberation of Kherson, we now have a lot of work in front of us together with the law enforcement agencies! We have no right to allow even isolated incidents of looting or violence. We will do everything to ensure that people come to normal life as soon as possible and are not afraid to go out into the city, feel safe, as it was before the full-scale invasion of the invaders,” says guard Andriy.
