Guards in the south destroy enemy drones
Guards of the combat unit against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of one of the military units of the Southern Operational and Territorial Union of the National Guard of Ukraine captured and destroyed 5 enemy Maviks and 1 Phantom-4.
The work of the unit begins with the inspection and preparation of equipment and means of electronic warfare, a report to the commander on promotion to the service area.
The main means of combating UAVs in the guards is the anti-drone system, which is used in combination with a variety of optical visual detection devices.
The main task is to detect and intercept enemy surveillance UAVs, as well as UAVs carrying combat charges.
In the process of hunting, the combat group conducts surveillance in a certain area. In case of detection of an enemy drone, the operator acts on it with an anti-drone gun, the assistant observes the behavior of the UAV and waits for it to “land”.
In the event of unusual situations, when the drone does not land on the ground or can get out of the “field of view” of the gun, the assistant applies fire damage with a small weapon. And the beaten enemy drone or its wreckage falls to the ground.
