Guards of the 5th Slobozhanska Brigade of the NGU are constantly increasing their firepower
Powerful and battle-hardened “armor” helps our fighters repel numerous “meat attacks” of Russian invaders and withstand massive artillery shelling. The crews of combat vehicles do their best to have their equipment act as a “clockwork mechanism”. Actually, for this purpose, control shootings are carried out, which are at the same time an important stage of military training.
“We conduct a post-repair weapons inspection and accompanying crew training. In addition to the trophy “82-ka”, we have the BTR-4MV. This is an experimental machine. Exists in one copy. It has a good overview, good maneuverability, powerful electronics that allows you to target the enemy. The combat module is also very functional and powerful. And most importantly, the car protects the crew well. She demonstrated all these qualities in different directions and in different combat conditions,” explained National Guard officer Shaman.
Guards units fight not only on Ukrainian equipment. An important role is played by trophy specimens - the result of the rapid Slobozhansky offensive in the autumn of 2022. Among the obvious advantages of the same BTR-82AM is the interchangeability of the ammunition nomenclature for the gun with the BTR-4, as well as the ease of management and maintenance.
“I am the commander of BTR-82AM. This is a trophy car. And we have a few of those in the team. One of them is now effectively working on the enemy near Kreminna. We conducted control shootings. We prepare our BTR for combat action. 30 mm gun and machine gun in good condition. The targets were hit,” said guard Kyrylo. He is responsible for the execution of combat missions in the Kharkiv, Kupyansk and Velikoburlutsky directions.
The brigade of the National Guard fully justifies its name “Slobozhanskaya”. Its fighters are desperately fighting for the freedom of vast expanses of the original Ukrainian territories of Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Anyone who wants to fight for their own land can join them.
