“Guard of the offensive”. Which teams can volunteers join
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has started the formation of assault brigades “Guard of Offensive”, of which volunteers can become a part.
You can join the “Guard of Assault” in a convenient format by submitting the relevant application on the website storm.mvs.gov.ua or submit a questionnaire through the designated Administrative Service Centers. The addresses of the relevant centers are posted on the website of the “Guard of the Offensive”.

“Storybug”: Russian Military Disposal Brigade
Since February 24, 2022, the personnel of the CIS unit performs tasks as part of the grouping of the Kiev city defense forces, protecting important state facilities and infrastructure. Its fighters were engaged in defensive actions in the cities of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk in Luhansk region. Currently, it performs tasks in the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region.
The slogan of the brigade is “And this storm goes to the enemies, enter and march!”.
“Red Kalina”: the red flame of the offensive
From the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the units of the Russian part have secured certain positions in the defense of the capital of Ukraine and prevented attempts to break through the enemy to Kiev, smashed a column of Russian troops near the village of Buzova. Since June 2022, the units of the regiment as part of the consolidated battalion group in OTU “North” of the operational-strategic group of Vysk “Khortytsya” participated in hostilities in Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and Belogorovka in Luhansk region, Speirsk Brigade slogan: “The enemy is smoldering, where the viburnum is red!” in Donetsk and Verkhnekamyansk regions.
“Kara-Dag”: raise the flag over the Crimea
From the moment of the full-scale invasion of Russia, its soldiers began to perform combat tasks. They defended Melitopol, Molochansk, Tokmak, Kamianske, Mala Tokmachka and were able to stop the attack of the overwhelming forces of the enemy in the directions of Vasylivka — Zaporizhia and Tokmak — Orikhiv.
Thanks to the use of modern methods of combat by the personnel of the brigade, the destruction of six enemy aircraft (four SU-25 aircraft, two K-52 helicopters), two UAVs and missiles, as well as armored vehicles and enemy manpower was confirmed.
“Frontier”: we return the legal boundaries of the state
On February 24, 2022, the company tactical group of the brigade was the first to fight with Russian special forces in the area of the airport “Antonov” (Gostomel), which played an important role in the defense of the capital. That did not allow the invaders to deploy their main forces in the immediate vicinity of Kiev. Then it was possible to destroy five and damage one enemy helicopter, and destroy the enemy's personnel to the company. Then this group distinguished itself in the battles in the region of Irpen, Guta Mezhyhirska and Moshchon, causing significant losses to the occupier. The fighters took part in the battles for Rubizhne, firmly defended Severodonetsk. The unit destroyed more than 300 units of armored vehicles of the Russian Federation, in particular SAU “Tulip”, eliminated more than 1 thousand invaders and wounded about 1.3 thousand.
“Spartan”: the enemy breaks on us
The soldiers of this Viennese unit gave a decent repulse to the enemy's attempts to break through to Kharkov, participated in the liberation of Malaya Rogan, Cirkunov and Kutuzivka in cooperation with the units of the Armed Forces. Currently, they are courageously defending Kharkiv and part of Luhansk region, holding positions in Toretsk region in Donetsk region.
During the fighting, the brigade destroyed a significant amount of life force and enemy equipment of the aggressor, in particular 4 tanks on the bypass road near Kharkov - on the first day of defense and SU-25 aircraft. Also, up to two companies of Russians were destroyed, two enemy tanks, 8 BMPs, two ZU-23-2 installations, 22 units of autos and RSVs were destroyed.
“Azov”: unbreakable, unconquered, unstoppable
The legendary unit, which during the Russian invasion of Ukraine became the center of defense of the city of Mariupol and continued to heroically maintain the Azovstal plant. “Azovets” liberated Mariupol in June 2014, took part in battles near Ilovaisk. Then they defended Mariupol, carried out an offensive on Shyrokyne in February 2015. “Azov” is also known for the fact that it effectively performed tasks in the area of the ATO, and subsequently within the framework of the operation of the Joint Forces. In particular, the forces of the unit conducted a successful Pavlopil-Shyrokinsk operation in 2015, performed a number of successful combat tasks in the area of the Svitlodar arc.

“Rage”: Turn your rage into a weapon
The Joint Assault Brigade “Fury” is a new paramilitary police unit. Its fighters are strong-willed and motivated warriors, ready to defend Ukraine and destroy the enemy on all fronts. Its main tasks are assault operations, neutralization of DRG and illegal armed formations of the enemy, air reconnaissance, identification of positions and destruction of the enemy.
Special purpose regiments “Safari” and “Tsunami”, a battalion of the special purpose police patrol service “Luhansk-1 named after the Hero of Ukraine Sergey Gubanov” - police units united by “Fury”. These are fighters who performed combat tasks in Kyiv region, Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv, Kherson and Donetsk directions. Bucha, Irpin, Kherson, Lysychansk, Severodonetsk, Yampil and Bakhmut — cities that hardened the fighting spirit of each of our warriors.
In the arsenal of “Fury” there are armored vehicles, artillery, anti-aircraft, anti-tank and sniper weapons.
Brigade of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
“Steel Border”: steel wall stands beyond our border
The 15th Mobile Border Patrol was created as a new unit. Its structure, management system and training are built taking into account the challenges facing Ukraine.
The base of the brigade was laid by units of the State Border Guard Service, which performed tasks in the area of hostilities in eastern Ukraine and courageously resisted Russian aggressors. In its ranks - the soldiers who were the first to meet the enemy on the border, defended the “Azovstal”, held the line of defense on the Lyman and Bakhmut directions, defended our state border.
To perform the tasks, the mobile border detachment is armed with anti-tank and artillery calculations, air reconnaissance groups and DPRK calculations. Its task is to strengthen the defense and defense of the state, to strengthen the border of Ukraine. Brigade slogan: “First on the border, first in the offensive.”
