“Humanitarian demining” is an important component of the security project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, announced in the doctrine of the President of Ukraine
The Ministry of Internal Affairs is working fruitfully on a security project called “Humanitarian Demining”, which is an important component of the large-scale initiative “Safe Environment” within the framework of the future Ukrainian doctrine, which was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky earlier.
The main focus of this project is on the implementation of the latest mining methodologies, in particular:
• application of mechanized demining • use of UAVs for surveying the terrain • development of mine-search dogs system • use of robotic complexes for neutralization of particularly dangerous munitions
Of course, professional training and increasing the number of sappers remains a crucial component.
We also continue to fill in the map of dangerous areas and update the SNSS application to expand its functionality. Thanks to the update, citizens will be able to:
• report the detection of explosive objects • view the map of the contaminated and depopulated area
Our priority is to do everything to make Ukraine safe for life. But only together we will be able to restore security to the entire Ukrainian territory. Invincible when united!
