The main service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented to driving schools new plans for issuing driver's licenses
Driving schools were presented with plans to introduce modern technical means and the latest technologies into the procedure for issuing a driver's license.
“Driving schools and service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are the basis of the foundations for the training of qualified drivers. Our cooperation is extremely important, because we prepare citizens who will become full participants in the road traffic and it is on their training that road safety depends. The responsibility is colossal. But we accept the challenge and introduce the latest technologies in the process of passing exams so that they are as transparent, accessible and effective as possible,” said the head of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Mykola Rudyk.
During the event, the issues of verification and access to the classroom for exams were discussed. What is meant? The person taking the theoretical exam will enter the examination class, where there will be a camera at the entrance. It will recognize the candidate's face as a driver, which will allow you to send a person to a workplace randomly determined in the Unified State Register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for passing a theoretical exam.
As for verification, in the future citizens will be able to take pictures on their own for a driver's license. To do this, each service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will have modern equipment that will allow to do this, and an identification code and id-card will be used to identify the person.
At the same time, the theoretical exam will be passed in the examination class under the following conditions:
• FACE ID identification of the person throughout the assembly process • fixation of the face and screen in case of a negative answer to the examination question;
• impossibility of remote access to workplaces; • monitoring the behavior of the person;
• video fixation of the assembly process.
In addition, it is planned to output video webcams located on workstations in the classroom to the examiner's workplace. This will allow you to control the entire process online.
The changes will also affect the process of practical exam preparation. Cars in the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be equipped with a DVR with 4 cameras - front, rear, two cabin projections, an internal monitor for controlling the angle and operation of the DVR, signaling sensors and duplicate pedals. There will also be a random selection by the Unified State Register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of examiners and the route for taking the practical exam.
In particular, the examiner will have an electronic check-list, face-id of the candidate, the ability to recognize the vehicle number, automatic receipt of the results of the preparation to the Unified State Register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In addition, future drivers do not need to look for rental trucks, cars with trailers, motorcycles, if they do not have them in the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Now all these vehicles will be there and everyone will be able to pass the practical exam.
