The Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine met with the Deputy Head of the US Mission and discussed the directions of cooperation
Christopher Smith visited one of the border units, where he was introduced to the functions and tasks performed by border defenses.
During the visit, the American delegation was acquainted with the functions and tasks of the border unit, presented the material and technical base, samples of weapons and equipment.
“Thanks to a powerful team of experts from the Embassy, we have reached the strategic level of such cooperation and every day we are jointly bringing Ukraine's victory closer,” said Serhiy Deineko, Head of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation on a number of individual issues and launch new pilot initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacity of the Border Agency of Ukraine.
