The head of the State Border Guard Service visited the advanced positions of the “Steel Border” and “Vengeance” fighters
Major General Serhiy Deyneko visited the Bakhmut, Lyman and Kupyansk directions, where he examined the conditions of residence of servicemen and their provision.
Also with the unit leaders, he discussed in detail the situation on the front line and the actions of the enemy. The servicemen noted that the occupiers do not stop their offensive actions, constantly shelling positions of Ukrainian defenders with various types of weapons, including using aviation. Nevertheless, the border guards courageously hold their positions and give a decent rebuff to the invaders.
Particular attention was paid to the expansion of the capabilities of units of unmanned aircraft complexes and the effective use of UAVs for the purpose of reconnaissance and destruction of enemy equipment and personnel.
In the units, the Head of the State Border Guard Service presented awards to defenders and defenders.
