Suspicions were handed to the defendants in the shooting of police officers in Vinnytsia region
Detainees are charged with encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer and illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives (Art. 348 and Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). They face a sentence of up to life imprisonment.
Today, investigators of the Investigative Department under the procedural guidance of the Vinnytsia Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Southern Region informed two servicemen about the suspicion of committing crimes.
Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by investigators of SU GUNP in Vinnytsia region.
Investigative actions are carried out with the suspects and the issue of choosing preventive measures for them in the form of detention is decided. The sanction of the article provides for a sentence of up to life imprisonment.
