The SESU experts are now in Japan and Cambodia improving techniques for working with mechanized demining machines
The training is carried out in two stages: first on the premises of the Japanese leading machine-building companies such as NIKKEN, and then - at the Cambodian Mine Action Center (CMAC).
In addition to organizing the training, Japan provided dozens of special vehicles and equipment for EOD specialists. Currently, 22 mechanized demining machines are in the process of being delivered, 6 of them having already arrived in Ukraine. Japan is one of our key partners in demining.
We are grateful to the Government of Japan, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the NIKKEN company for their support and strengthening of our technical capabilities.
