So, the other day, under the guise of humanitarian aid from Poland, two men tried to import three SUVs worth 700 thousand hryvnias.

Such “help” was exposed by border guards at the checkpoint “Grushiv”. Cars arrived at the entrance with a time difference of one hour.

The 51-year-old and 20-year-old residents of the city of Rivne were followed to Ukraine by two trucks with a lathe, on which SUVs were moved. To pass the control, pseudo-philanthropists directed cars to the “red corridor” and declared BMW, Audi and Porsche cars of 2013 and 2017 production in the established order.

According to the documents provided for verification, it was established that the cars were moved as humanitarian aid for one of the capital's charitable foundations. According to the information of the operational staff of the Lviv Detachment, an additional inspection was initiated.

During the inspection, border guards together with customs officers found out that the recipient does not expect such “humanitarian assistance”, and the citizens who move them are not known to them.

According to these facts, protocols on violation of customs rules have been drawn up. Cars are removed in the prescribed manner.

But in Kharkiv region, at one of the block of posts, border guards found a person who had been hiding from law enforcement since 2019.

During the examination of the documents of a 58-year-old citizen of Ukraine, who was heading to Kharkov by car as a passenger, border guards established that he is wanted on suspicion of committing a criminal offense, responsibility for which is provided for by Art. 203-1 CCU “Illegal circulation of discs for laser reading systems”.

To make a legal decision, a citizen is transferred to law enforcement officers.
