Now, during the inspection of the vehicle, not only photo fixation of the process will be carried out, but also video fixation.

The main service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has developed and created tools for more effective control over commercial, passenger and cargo carriers, which must undergo mandatory technical control of vehicles. These changes were adopted by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 514 of May 19, 2023 and entered into force on August 25.

With the help of video recording, the entire process of checking the design and technical control of the vehicle will be recorded, which will prevent the fictitious passage of technical control and falsification of the protocol.

Video fixation of the vehicle inspection process will begin to function 6 months after the cessation or cancellation of the martial law.

The e-protocol contains all the necessary information about the passage of technical control, including the date, time and results of the inspection. An electronic copy is a valid document certifying the positive results of checking the vehicle's compliance with safety and technical condition requirements.

Thanks to the e-protocol, the process of obtaining documents becomes more convenient and efficient. In addition, electronic document management reduces the use of paper and complies with the principle of digital development “Paperless”.

Technical control points keep all documents, photo and video materials of the vehicle inspection process during the period of validity of the protocol of mandatory technical control. A protocol that contains incomplete and/or inaccurate information is considered invalid.

We remind you that the mandatory technical control of the vehicle involves checking the technical condition of the vehicle, namely:

- brake and steering systems,

- outdoor lighting devices,

- pneumatic tires and wheels,

- light transmittance of glass,

- gas cylinder equipment (if available).

And also the identification numbers and license plates of the car are reconciled with the data of registration documents and the conformity of the completeness of the vehicle is established.
