Extreme psychologists and doctors of the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine conducted complex training sessions for displaced persons
On July 7, specialists of the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine conducted comprehensive training sessions on the safety of life of citizens in conditions of martial law. The participants of the events were forced migrants from Kharkiv regions.
Thus, the head of the psychological support sector Alexey Kosolapov and senior researcher of the educational and scientific laboratory of extreme and crisis psychology Yanina Ovsyannikova during interactive classes familiarized the participants with the main methods of self-regulation of maintaining the optimal emotional state, self-help, psychological adaptation to the conditions war and psychological support for family and family.
The head of the medical and sanitary department of the university Yuriy Prykhodko during the interactive classes familiarized the participants with the algorithms of self-help and mutual assistance during the defeat of the civilian population in the conditions of war, as well as with the rules for the use of means of temporary stopping bleeding (harnesses, tourniquets, improvised means).
Today, extreme psychologists and doctors of the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine continue to fulfill their human duties — to provide psychological and medical care to Kharkiv residents and displaced persons, including the elderly, with disabilities, oncological diseases, children.
