The crew of the “White Angel” evacuated the last child from the village of Maksymilyanovka of the Marin community
In Donetsk region, an operation to rescue children from the most dangerous settlements continues. In one day, the “White Angels” took five children out of Krasnogorovka, and from the village of Maksymilyanivka — the last 12-year-old boy, who lived in the basement for about half a year. For now, children and their parents are starting a new life in a safe place.
Every day, the situation in Krasnogorovka and the surrounding villages is becoming more tense, the number of enemy shelling has increased. However, only a few of the local residents agree to evacuate. In one day, 14 people, including six children, were evacuated from the “White Angels” community of Marin.
The house of the family of 12-year-old Ivan in Maksymilyanivka was damaged by shelling and unsuitable for living, so the family has lived in the basement since autumn last year. All of the boy's friends and classmates have already left the village. A friend for Ivan was the “White Angel” Vasily Pipa, whom the boy wants to be like.
“I want to become a policeman, like Vasily, and help people. Although it is dangerous and responsible work, but I like it,” the guy shares his dreams with law enforcement officers.
Now the child, along with his parents and two grandmothers, will live in a safe place. Most of all, Ivan wants the war to end as soon as possible and he can return home. Today, there are no children left in Maksymilyanovka.
From Krasnogorovka, the group “White Angel” carried out the evacuation of three families, in which five young children are being raised. The parents of the little one did not want to evacuate, but agreed to it for the sake of the children. However, not all adults are aware of the danger to the baby. In Krasnogorovka there are 42 more children, whose parents postpone the departure.
“Work on the evacuation of children from frontline settlements will continue until we remove all minors. Children should live in safety,” said police officer Vasily Pipa.
