Two drowners were discovered by rescuers during the day: the rules of safe behavior on the water
The body of a 27-year-old man was found in the Chernihiv region in the Novgorod-Seversky district. He disappeared on August 28, 2023. The cause and circumstances of the tragedy are being clarified by law enforcement agencies.
To carry out search work, rescuers involved 3 personnel, one unit of equipment and a boat.
Meanwhile, a 10-year-old boy died in Volyn in an artificial reservoir. The mother of the student, together with her neighbors, tried to find the child. He was eventually found in an artificial pond (diggers), pulled ashore and called medics and rescuers. The boy could not be resuscitated.
Rescuers once again appeal to citizens not to neglect security measures. To make rest near the pond safe, you should follow the basic rules:
● swim only in places that are determined by local executive authorities and equipped for bathing people. ● it is better to refuse to swim during the day; ● you can swim in the water for no more than 20 minutes;
● do not dive into the water after a long stay in the sun;
● not allowed enter the water in a state of intoxication;
● do not swim far. Compliance with the basic rules
