Thinking of buying rights — think about the consequences!
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine once again reminds citizens of responsibility for the use of forged documents, in particular a driver's license.
The only legal way to obtain a valid certificate is to independently go through the procedure for obtaining a service at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
What do fakes look like?
Fake driver's licenses look similar to the originals, but they are not in government registers and do not appear in the Action app or in the Driver's Cabinet.
What are the risks?
Attackers create sites where they offer their services for the sale of fake driver's licenses. Or phishing resources. In this way — they gain access to the electronic wallets of citizens and further appropriate people's money.
Please note that the state service always has the domain “gov.ua”. You can check your document on the website of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
What is the responsibility for counterfeiting drivers and using them?
This is determined by the sanction of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Forgery of documents provides for fines or probation supervision, restrictions or even imprisonment.
For the use of knowingly forged documents — a fine of up to 50 taxable minimums or probation for a period of up to 2 years, or restriction of liberty for the same period.
