SNS together with UNICEF implements information campaign “Safety at home in times of war”
Every day rescuers eliminate the consequences of non-compliance with safety rules when using heating and electrical appliances. Raising citizens' awareness of safety rules can protect more than one life. That is why the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, together with the UN Children's Fund UNICEF Ukraine, is implementing the information campaign “Safety at home during war”.
Safety lessons for children, preventive and educational work with adults, radio, television, Internet, entrances of houses, elevators and outdoor advertising on the streets of different regions of Ukraine — we actively inform about the importance of compliance with the rules for handling gas burners, stoves, candles and generators.
The goal of the campaign is to not just see and hear, but to remember and observe important safety rules. And when in the future it helps to protect the health and lives of our citizens, our joint work is not in vain. After all, it is better to prevent emergencies than to eliminate the consequences.
