SNS signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Charitable Organization “Ukrainian-Turkish Charitable Foundation”
The signing of the memorandum took place in the office of the Rescue Service during the meeting of the head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Serhiy Kruk with the People's Deputy of Ukraine Lyudmila Marchenko and representatives of the Charitable Organization “Ukrainian-Turkish Charitable Foundation”.
Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the directions of cooperation on conducting joint activities aimed at informing the population about actions in emergency situations, development and improvement of mechanisms for training the population in safety rules.
Separately, we considered a number of projects that are already being implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service together with the participants of the educational process. We are talking about the projects “Safe Educational Space”, “Safety Classes”, “Safety Educator”. We also considered the development of Voluntary Firefighter Wives and volunteer movement of rescuers in Ukraine.
According to the head of the State Emergency Service Serhiy Kruk, more than 15 thousand citizens registered as rescue volunteers. “They were involved to carry out work in Kyiv region, Sumy region... These people are a powerful force and base for the development of the Voluntary Movement of Rescuers. As an example, we have neighboring Poland, which has about 600,000 volunteers,” the head of the State Emergency Service said.
In turn, the founder of the foundation Lyudmila Marchenko stressed that the charitable organization is ready to develop and improve training programs in the field of security. In particular, the Foundation has developed joint projects with the Ministry of Social Policy, which can be implemented in close cooperation with the SNS.
“Due to the aggression of the Russian Federation, a large number of relocated enterprises, which are concentrated in the west of Ukraine at the beginning of the heating season, will face the factor of increased fire danger and other domestic hazards, which requires an immediate response and joint actions in the direction of prevention and mandatory informing the population of Ukraine,” the people's office said. deputy.
Lyudmila Marchenko also guaranteed support in cooperation with the announced projects of the head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the involvement of volunteers.
