The State Emergency Service Receives 8 Cars from International Benefactors (VIDEO)

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine received 8 vehicles as part of international technical assistance from the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in cooperation with the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Foundation.

Acting Director of the Department of Material and Technical Support and Logistics of the State Emergency Service Victor Likanov and Director of the Early Recovery Component of the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Foundation James Fennel took part in the official ceremony of the transfer of cars.

In particular, three trucks with a hydroport, two cargo minibuses, two pickup trucks and one Toyota Land Cruiser car were transferred for the needs of the SNS.

Cars will be sent to rescuers from Zaporizhia, Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Kherson and Odessa regions in the future.

The creation of the International Fund “Partnership for a Strong Ukraine” was initiated by the UK in February 2022. Canada, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States also joined the Foundation's work.

Within the framework of cooperation with the Foundation, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in 2022-2023 has already received rescue boats, hydraulic equipment, devices for finding people in rubble, gas analyzers, generators, multicopters and other equipment.
