The SNS received 14 specialized cars for pyrotechnic units from UNDP
The UN Development Programme, in partnership with the Government of Japan, delivered 14 specialized Toyota Hilux Double Cabin class vehicles, armored vehicles and radios for the needs of the pyrotechnic units of the SNS. This equipment is provided as part of the implementation of the UNDP project “Emergency Disposal of Explosive Objects and Debris Clearance” and is funded by the Government of Japan.
The de-occupied territory of Ukraine is densely mined. The Russians have mined everything in their path, so there is a lot of work ahead for our pyrotechnics. Armor protection, machinery and equipment quickly fail and always need updating. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of our state, Japan has repeatedly supported pyrotechnic calculations of the State Emergency Service.
Recall that earlier, as part of the project, 8 similar cars and special protective equipment for demining areas were transferred to the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service.
