The State Migration Service of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine have developed the possibility of generating an extract about the place of residence in the application “Diia”. Prior to this, the service was available only on the Unified Portal of Public Services “Diia”.

In order to generate an extract in the Action mobile application, a person needs to perform three simple steps:

1. Go to “Action” and click on “Services”.

2. Select “References and extracts” and select “Residence extract”.

3. Click “Order an extract”.

The application will be processed within a few minutes, and if information about the person is in the register, an extract will be generated. In addition, it is possible to download the extract to a person's mobile phone in PDF format within 24 hours. At the same time, parents will be able to order an extract from the application about the place of residence of their children.

As in the Unified Portal of Public Services “Diia”, in the mobile application the extract will contain information available in the DMS departmental information system about the person, address and date of declared/registered place of residence (stay) or the address and date of removal from the declared/registered place of residence (stay), or information about the cancellation of the declaration/registration/withdrawal from the declared/registered place of residence (stay).

Citizens will be able to present an extract from the “Action” when receiving administrative or social services — the information can be read and checked by special technical means using a unique electronic identifier (QR code). In this way, the state authorities will be able to verify the validity of the extract and check the information contained in the registers.

Recall that the service is implemented by the Ministry of Digital Affairs together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the State Migration Service of Ukraine with the support of the EGAP program of the Eastern Europe Fund, funded by the Government of Switzerland.
