The experience of Ukrainian military, police and rescuers is unique - Kateryna Pavlichenko
More than 20% of the Security and Defense Forces are units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, a significant part of which are women. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko stated this in an event discussing the role of women in law enforcement and emergency services.
According to Kateryna Pavlichenko, the experience gained by Ukrainian military, police and rescuers in recent years is unique.
“Within the framework of the project “Promoting Human Security in Ukraine through Responding to the Multidimensional Crisis Caused by War”, the challenges and role of women in law enforcement and emergency services were discussed. I am grateful to UNDP partners and the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine for their consistency and support for the observance of equal rights and opportunities in the security sector of Ukraine,” the Deputy Minister said.
