Helped evaders to issue fake disability: a soldier was exposed in the capital
During the pre-trial investigation, investigators found that for a reward of $5,000, a soldier in collusion with employees of the military medical commission of one of the district TCC contributed to the recognition of men of conscription age unfit for military service.
Dealers issued fake certificates to evaders about receiving disability groups.
The accused law enforcement officers were detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Investigators notified the offender of suspicion of committing the crime provided for in Part 2 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an unlawful benefit to oneself or a third party for influencing a decision by a person authorized to perform the functions of state or local self-government, or an offer or promise to exercise influence for the provision of such benefit.
During the pre-trial investigation, the court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention with the possibility of posting bail.
At the moment, the police have sent the indictment against the man to the court for consideration of the case on the merits. He faces a fine of two thousand to five thousand five hundred non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens or imprisonment for a term of two to five years.
Regarding other officials who are involved in a large-scale corruption scheme to evade conscription, the materials are allocated to a separate proceeding.
