During the day, the police recorded 1849 shelling by Russian troops. The enemy used civil aviation, RSVP, artillery against civilians.
Under the attack were 9 settlements: the cities Druzhkivka, Kurakhovo, Pokrovsk, Chasiv Yar, the village of Velyka Novosilka, the villages of Druzhba, Novyi Komar, Novoselivka Persha, Tarasivka.
40 civilian objects were damaged - 25 residential buildings, educational institutions, garage, vehicles, critical infrastructure.
The Russian army shelled Druzhkivka — killed a man, damaged 12 private homes, a garage, a car, cut off the gas pipeline and electricity. The type of weapon from which the strike is dealt is set.
Russia's night strike on Pokrovsk took the lives of two civilians, damaged an infrastructure facility.
From the RSVP “Grad” the invaders covered Chasiv Yar. Two residents were injured, four apartment buildings and an educational institution were damaged.
Two guided aerial bombs “KAB-500" were dropped by the occupiers on Tarasivka and destroyed the school.
In addition, on the morning of May 5, the enemy hit Novogrodivka with an air bomb “KAB-250". In Ukraine, the Russians hit with artillery - damaged an educational institution, a boiler house, a sports ground. In both cases, there were no casualties.
Police and SBU opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Another 120 people, including 8 children, were evacuated with the help of the police. Since the beginning of the mandatory evacuation there have been 159,525 people, among them 18,822 are children, 6,506 are people with disabilities.
