Voluntarily held leadership positions: two collaborators from Melitopol will be tried in Zaporizhzhia

Law enforcement officers of the Zaporizhzhya region sent to court an indictment against two women who went to cooperate with the Russian invaders.

In the temporarily occupied territory of the city of Melitopol, two women showed an anti-Ukrainian position. They agreed to the proposal of the Russian invaders and voluntarily assumed positions related to the performance of organizational, managerial and administrative-economic functions.

So the 40-year-old traitor agreed to take the post of “head of the department of the labor organization of the Population Training Center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Military and Civil Administration of the Zaporozhye region”. Her deputy was a 48-year-old resident of Melitopol.

Collaborators headed the department, introduced provisions of the legislation of the Russian Federation into social insurance activities, were engaged in the selection of employees and organization of employment of the local population in other institutions created by the occupying authorities.

Law enforcement officers in absentia informed the traitors about the suspicion of committing the crime provided for in Part 5 of Art. 111-1 (Collaborative activity) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Now law enforcement officers sent to the court an indictment against both citizens of Ukraine on the fact of collaborative activity.

The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of up to ten years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to fifteen years and with or without confiscation of property.
