Attention drivers! Traffic on the highway connecting Kiev - Odessa is limited, and the Odesa - Reni highway is completely blocked! (VIDEO)
Due to the deterioration of weather conditions, the Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in the Odessa region announced a ban on the road of international importance M-15 for trucks and cars, as well as restrictions on the movement of heavy vehicles on the state highway M-05. Information on the resumption of traffic will be provided additionally.
We note that the weather conditions in the Odessa region are deteriorating. Due to snow, sticking of wet snow, ice, insufficient visibility, strong gusts of wind, traffic on highways is complicated. Law enforcement officers work in all difficult areas and provide assistance to drivers and passengers who are caught by bad weather on the road.
As of 11 o'clock, the police received 48 reports of accidents, there are no dead or hospitalized. The largest number of accidents in Bilyayevsky and Belgorod-Dnestrovsky directions with the participation of trucks and regular buses.
One of these buses, which was traveling from the city of Sofia in the direction of the city of Izmail, near the village of Orlivka of the Reni community, crashed into a cuvette. 19 passengers and two drivers were not injured. The police took them in their transport to one of the local schools, where they were given shelter and assistance.
He got stuck on the side of the road near the village of Novoselske and a bus connecting Bucharest - Odessa with 42 passengers, including 5 children, and two drivers. Police and the National Emergency Service also evacuated people to a local school, where they were given shelter.
