The process of examination of educational institutions in the Transcarpathian region is coming to an end. To date, special commissions have already examined the buildings of 1205 universities, schools and kindergartens, in turn - the last 48. Currently, subject to certain conditions, the members of the commissions recommend the opening of 517 educational institutions, which represents 41% of their total.

Compliance with the safety requirements of educational institutions in Transcarpathia is especially important, because the region has accepted more than 300 thousand forced migrants, including many children. It is important that education seekers have the opportunity to fully study.

Local authorities, together with employees of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, are doing everything possible to prepare as many local educational institutions as possible that can conduct offline training by the beginning of the school year. Today, the best situation in the region is in Berehovsky (62.4% of recommended institutions), Tyachiv (60%) and Uzhgorod (51%) districts.

In order to organize a safe educational process, colleges, schools and kindergartens should have a simple visualization of the path to civil protection protective structures and the simplest shelters, provide all the conditions for staying and studying there, conduct training on actions in case of air alarm declaration, etc.

In addition to preparing the infrastructure, changes will also be made to the content of curricula for grades 6-11, in particular on the subjects “Protection of Ukraine” and “Basics of Health”. They will concern the preparation of education seekers and teachers for emergency action.
