By the end of the week, the first developments regarding the investigation of the circumstances of the tragedy in Dnipro will be known - Yevhenii Yenin
Today, January 31, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhenii Yenin announced the start of work of the commission that will investigate the tragedy with the employees of the National Guard, which occurred last week in Dnipro.
“By the end of the week there will be the first work. Our goal is to step by step restore the chain of events that led to the illegal use of firearms by the military of the NGU, as well as to take measures to prevent such tragedies in the future. We are aiming for the most effective result,” said the First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
According to Yevgeny Yenin, the commission included representatives of various departments, sectors and directions. Each of them has clear tasks:
• checking the response to complaints to the heads of staff;
• checking compliance with the order of storage, circulation and issuance of weapons at the specified time;
• finding out the facts of appeals of servicemen of this hospital to medical institutions and establishing the reasons for these appeals;
• identification of possible extrajudicial relationships;
• anonymous questioning of military personnel, which can help establish violations of statutory relations and find out the real moral and psychological climate in the team;
• verification of approaches to the professional selection of servicemen, their professional training, as well as control over these processes by the leadership of the NGU.
Yevgeny Yenin stressed that the commission will establish all the circumstances and nuances of the case, and he will personally report on the progress of the investigation.
