To the Day of Commemoration of Participants in the Elimination of the Consequences of the Chernobyl Disaster
Dear colleagues, dear veterans of Chernobyl! Today, December 14, in Ukraine, we honor the feat of the participants in the elimination of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP. We bow our heads once again and remember the dead heroes. Thank you to those who are with us today. Who at the cost of his own health and life saved Ukraine, Europe and the world from nuclear disaster.
Firefighter heroes, workers of the then militia and soldiers of the internal troops were in the front ranks of the liquidator heroes.
The granting of state status to the Day of the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident during the years of Ukraine's independence underlines the important historical role of the liquidators and their high responsibility to future generations.
Unfortunately, today we are witnessing energy, in particular nuclear, terrorism on the part of the Russian Federation. Humanity is once again under threat of a possible destructive nuclear hell.
Enemy missiles fly over Ukraine's nuclear stations, the danger of hitting nuclear power plants is extremely high.
Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant is occupied. The level of danger provoked by Russian troops is extremely high. This is recognized by the entire civilized world. And the Ukrainian state, in particular the forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the world community is doing everything possible to prevent a new Chernobyl.
All of us will always work to ensure that the liquidator heroes feel the constant attention, support and care of the state, so that all conditions are created for solving their vital issues.
With all my heart, I wish the participants of the liquidation health, happiness and well-being!
