The State Tax Service of Ukraine urges citizens not to use the services of intermediaries during the execution of biometric documents
In the conditions of martial law imposed on the territory of Ukraine in connection with Russian aggression, the situation with the issuance of biometric documents of a citizen of Ukraine is quite complex and dynamic. However, territorial bodies and territorial units of the State Tax Service, centers for the provision of administrative services and citizen service centers “Passport Service”, which are located in safe areas, continue to work and provide administrative services.
Unfortunately, such a situation is not averse to the use of various types of fraudsters who place ads on the Internet about so-called “mediation” - they offer, as a rule, a “simplified” procedure for submitting documents, as fast as possible registration of passports, out-of-line service, etc.
Dear citizens, we draw your attention: you can issue biometric documents only in person and only in: - the subdivision of the State Tax Service of Ukraine; - the center for the provision of administrative services (CNAP);
- the citizen service center “Passport Service”.
Please do not use the services of any intermediaries under any circumstances. All offers from them to provide services to “speed up” the issuance of biometric passports of a citizen of Ukraine are illegal.
We also ask you to take into account that in the conditions of martial law there are certain problems with compliance with the deadlines established by law for registration of biometric documents. Therefore, we currently do not recommend paying an increased amount of administrative fee for their urgent registration.
