If citizens do not have information about the whereabouts of a relative, they can contact the National Information Bureau at the short number 1648, city number (044) 287-81-65 or fill out the appropriate form for inquiries on the website nib.gov.ua (http://nib.gov.ua/). You can also apply for a search for a missing person to the nearest territorial body of the National Police

search for a missing person shall cease no later than three days from the date of establishment of the place of stay of the person missing for special reasons the circumstances, place of burial or the location of the remains of such a person, with the notification thereof of his or her close relatives and family members, and of the applicant, unless the applicant is a close relative and family member.
