For Ukrainians, the procedure for obtaining a passport has been simplified
From today, by the Government's decision, all units of the State Migration Service of Ukraine and foreign diplomatic institutions receive direct access to the State Register of Civil Status Acts of Citizens. In this way, the authorities will have the opportunity to form an extract on the state registration of the birth of the person and his origin.
So for citizens, the procedure for obtaining passport documents is greatly simplified. In particular, it will allow Ukrainians who have left the temporarily occupied territories or are abroad due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, to issue their passports faster.
Such an innovation will optimize the work of the DMS authorities and will significantly reduce the time for processing requests for passports.
