For those who are left without communication, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has introduced alternative possibilities for calls on lines 101 and 102
This was said by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Tymchenko on the air of the All-Ukrainian Telemarathon “United News”.
“The Ministry of the Interior has introduced alternative possibilities, in which way today it is possible to contact the lines 101 and 102 in the first place. If the subscriber has access to Wi-Fi, to the Internet, then citizens can contact the units of the National Police and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. You can call using instant messengers to numbers in accordance with the region. Phone numbers are available on the official website of the Ministry, as well as on the pages of social networks of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The number must be entered in your phone book and then call through any convenient messenger,” explained Leonid Tymchenko.
He also noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs took additional measures so that the population was warned about air alarms due to the lack of communication: “Speaking about the alert system, the very first thing to note is that the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system gained enough experience during the blackouts last winter. Therefore, if the alert system does not work, algorithms that have already been developed will be used when the crews of the patrol police and the SSNS announce the danger through loudspeakers.”
In addition, Leonid Timchenko noted that all the “Points of Inviolability”, which are deployed on the territory of our state, are working. They are equipped with means of communication, so you can come to any point in order to directly use the communication there and ask for help.
