Children from de-occupied communities in Donetsk region received New Year's gifts from police
The heads of the Kramatorsk regional police department visited small residents of Svyatogorsk, Yarova and Drobysheve villages who survived the occupation and presented them with fruits, sweets and toys. In total, there are more than 600 children living in the communities.
The head of the Kramatorsk district police department, Stanislav Zagursky, and his colleagues carried out an important mission — to give a moment of joy to the little ones who were caught in the maelstrom of war and experienced many terrible events.
With goodies and toys, the policemen came to Svyatogorsk — a city that was under constant shelling for almost half a year, was occupied and suffered considerable destruction. Now both local families with children and those who have lost their homes in the surrounding villages live here. In total, there are 60 children in the city, all of them are under the care of inspectors for juvenile prevention.
Law enforcement officers also visited Yarova and Drobysheve — villages from which the occupiers attacked Svyatogorsk and Lyman in the spring. The kids rejoiced and told holiday poems. Adolescents were more restrained, but it was noticeable that such attention from adults is very important for them. Police officers reminded parents of the need to evacuate children to safer regions.
Gifts are given to the children of Donetsk region from the people of Latvia, the National Police of Ukraine and enterprises of Kyiv.
