Children of injured employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be able to rest in Croatia
On July 31, during the working meeting of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kateryna Pavlichenko with the President of the Association “Croatia Helps” - Djurdja Adlesic, the parties agreed to expand cooperation in the issue of rehabilitation of Ukrainian children and launch new areas of cooperation.
Participants discussed the issues of improving the veteran policy, countering sexual violence during the war and demining of Ukrainian territories.
“At a time when Ukraine is facing Russian aggression, they are close by, sharing experiences and helping our children. Over the past year, this small but very hospitable country has welcomed Ukrainian children to rest and recuperate. These are children of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, whose parents died in the war, were captured, or are serving on the front lines.”, - noted Kateryna Pavlichenko.
During the meeting, the participants agreed to continue cooperation in the rehabilitation of Ukrainian children. In the summer and for the winter holidays, they will be able to break away from Ukrainian realities and translate the spirit in the Balkans.
Recall that since the beginning of a full-scale war, about a hundred children of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, whose parents died in the war, were captured, or those serving on the front lines were able to rest and undergo recovery in Croatia.
