The State Border Guard Service exposed a Transcarpathian who tried to transfer two men across the border for 4.5 thousand US dollars
The man was declared on suspicion of committing a criminal offense. He faces up to nine years in prison.
A citizen of Ukraine, a resident of Rakosh village of Khust district of the Transcarpathian region, who was engaged in the transportation of men across the border, was exposed by the employees of the Main Operational and Investigative Department of the Mukachiv Border Detachment together with the employees of the Khust regional police department of the GUNP of Ukraine in the Zakarpattia region and the Khust regional department Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region, under the procedural leadership of the Khust District Prosecutor's Office.
Within the framework of the criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Art., opened by the agents of the Mukachevo Detachment on the materials of the Mukachevo Detachment. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, law enforcement officers established that a Transcarpathian man for 4.5 thousand US dollars organized the transfer of two men of conscription age to Romania. Dilka was detained at the scene of the crime at the time of his receipt of funds for illegal trafficking.
The sanction of the article for such acts provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of seven to nine years. Investigative actions are currently underway.
