The State Border Guard continues to detect violators (VIDEO)
So, the other day, during the implementation of operational information, the border outfit of the Izmail detachment detained two fishermen with illegal sturgeon catch on the Danube River, near the city of Vylkove.
Having approached the boat of the offenders by boat, the state border guards found four caught seewirds in the boat.
Upon the commission of a criminal offense, provided for in Art. 249 CCU “Illegal occupation of fish, animal or other aquatic extractive industries”, border guards sent a message to the National Police and informed the fish protection patrol.
According to the tariff for calculating the amount of compensation for damage caused as a result of illegal extraction of aquatic biological resources, the amount of damage is estimated at 192 thousand hryvnias.
After the crime was fixed and the mandatory procedural actions were taken, all the fish alive were released into their natural habitat. 320 m long nets and sailboats of the type “Kayuk” were withdrawn before the court decision.
But in Kharkiv region, at the checkpoint, border guards together with representatives of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the car “VAZ” found a homemade musket. The car was driven by a 47-year-old Kharkiv resident.
The man said that he makes museum firearms with his own hands and was very surprised to learn from border guards that it is illegal to manufacture without appropriate permits or movement of such weapons.
To make a further legal decision, the owner of a homemade firearm device and his own weapon was transferred to the employees of the competent law enforcement agencies.
Border guards report that over the past day a total of 66 thousand people were followed to Ukraine, 61 thousand of them are citizens of Ukraine.
In addition, 90 trucks with humanitarian aid were registered.
31 persons were detained for attempting to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine — 3 of them tried to cross the border illegally at checkpoints, another 28 were detained outside designated crossing points.
