A state is strong and stably protected when it has a strong army
At the Training Center of the Maritime Guard of the State Border Service, a three-week training of mobilized persons under the program, which is provided for those mobilized for service without prior experience, has been completed.
Almost fifty mobilized servicemen from different parts of Ukraine, who do not have military experience, have been trained.
The training was primarily focused on completing tasks on the basics of naval training, fighting for the survivability of the ship, and complex tactical training exercises. Under the guidance of the teacher of the general training department Irina Drozdova, the border guards mastered the basic principles of providing medical assistance and the priority stages of tactical combat assistance to the victims.
Oleksandr Bekalo, a teacher of the Department of Special Weapons and Ship Management, organized an energetic and qualified training of mobilized personnel to fight for the survivability of the ship.
Classes took place in conditions close to real emergency and combat. During the fight against local fire, the same emergency and rescue property was used, with which the ship and boat depot is equipped.
Participants in the training learned to act, both individually and as part of emergency teams. There are many emergencies and dangers at sea, so maritime border guards should always be ready, both practically and psychologically, to localize an emergency.
During classes on fire training, under the guidance of the head of the general training department, senior lecturer Maxim Lozovsky, the fighters mastered the basics and rules of shooting, the material part of various types of small arms. They learned how to service the weapon and use it from different positions.
As part of the training, the servicemen got acquainted with samples of weapons of domestic production and group weapons of NATO member countries.

Tactical actions of the department, offensive, withdrawal, defense, DRG tactics, patrolling, fighting in the city with elements of storming buildings — a comprehensive course on military tactics was taught to the fighters by Alexander Volkov, a specialist of the Department of Special Weapons and Ship Control.
“To win, we have to keep the right course. It must be understood that war does not bypass any Ukrainian. With proper preparation and with the right algorithm of actions, our chances of victory increase. No one will take care of us but ourselves. We will defeat the enemy and subsequently rebuild a strong and independent Ukraine, in which we, our children, parents and relatives will live,” says sailor Mykhailo Shtyrbu, a student of the training course.
