MP detonated grenades in village council in Transcarpathia: law enforcement officers started criminal proceedings
In Transcarpathia, in the building of the Keretsky village council of Mukachevo district, a deputy detonated grenades. Investigators of the National Police of Ukraine qualified the incident under Part 1 of Art. 263 (Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The explosion of three grenades occurred on December 15, 2023 in the premises of the Keretsky village council. As a result, 26 people were injured, six in serious condition. Medics are carrying out resuscitation measures on the man who detonated the grenades.
At the scene of the incident, all specialized services, the investigative and operational team of the police, explosives and forensics are working. Priority investigative actions continue.
