The Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a training on the educational work of future law enforcement officers
The intensification of the challenges of the internal and external security of the country has raised the issue of revising existing approaches to conducting educational work with a changing staff in higher education institutions with specific training conditions belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in order to form in cadets stable moral and psychological qualities, nationally oriented self-awareness, as well as readiness to defend the Motherland.
Since the key role in the formation and development of these and other qualities of future law enforcement officers belongs to the employees of the course link of higher education institutions with specific conditions of study, the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the participation of representatives of the State Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine from 07 to 11 August 2023 held a training “Development of specialists of the course link of higher education institutions with specific conditions for training skills of working with cadets”.
During the training, the course staff received consultative and methodological assistance in organizing educational work with a changing staff and acquired the appropriate competencies.
In addition, the participants of the training worked out:
- age, individual-psychological, gender characteristics of cadets;
- maintaining the personal formation of the cadet in the cadet team;
- promoting the professional development of the cadet as a specialist;
- tools of self-development, self-control, self-reflection.
91 employees of the course link took part in the training, having learned the pedagogical and psychological approaches to working with cadets, as well as the peculiarities of working with cadets who suffered as a result of military aggression.
According to the results of the training, the director of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Alexander Tarasenko presented certificates to the participants.
