Denis Monastyrsky: There will be no restrictions on constitutional rights, in particular, the right to rallies
Yesterday, February 14, on the broadcast of the program “Right to Power”, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine assured that during the strengthening of the regime of carrying the service of the National Police there will be no restrictions on the constitutional rights of citizens.
“There will be no restrictions on citizens' rights, such as the right to rallies, of course. Such restrictions are imposed only when martial law is introduced in the country. So far there is no talk of that. And I am sure that by uniting, we will all be able to go through this difficult time,” said Denis Monastyrsky.
The Minister said that during the strengthening of the duty regime of the National Police, the number of law enforcement personnel will be increased, which will ensure public safety on the streets and strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure objects.
Also, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs asked drivers to understand that the inspection of vehicles will be carried out more often.
Recall that from February 14 to 19, 2022, police personnel transferred to the enhanced mode of duty. This was announced today by the head of the National Police of Ukraine Igor Klymenko.
