Denis Monastyrsky presented state awards and departmental honors to employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
Today, June 14, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine presented awards and honors to employees and servicemen of units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system and departmental institutions of higher education.
Denis Monastyrsky noted that today's award is possible thanks to the people who gathered here. After all, it was they who were able to save the Kiev region during the offensive of the enemy.
“From myself, on behalf of the President of Ukraine and from the entire leadership of the State, I thank you for your work, for your courage, for your heroism, for not being afraid to risk the most precious — life — for the liberation of Ukraine. Now the people of Kiev look at you with pride. I sincerely wish that your children will be able to look at you with the same pride on the day when Ukraine wins,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
79 employees and servicemen of the organs of the system were awarded by decrees of the President of Ukraine for their personal courage and courage, steadfastness and determination in the performance of military duty in conditions associated with the risk to life during measures to ensure national security and defense, repelling and deterring armed aggression of the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs: Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III degree — 1; Order “For Courage” of III degree — 49; Order of Princess Olga III degree — 2; Order of Daniel Galitsky — 1; Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine” — 17; Medal “Defender of the Fatherland” — 9; in addition, the honorary title “Honored Lawyer of Ukraine” was awarded to the professor of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Also, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine presented the award “Firearms” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to eleven policemen and eight guards.
